text: Cabbalistic Prayer for sustenance said on Rosh HaShana and abbreviation of Psalm 24

“May it be Your will Hashem, our God, the great, mighty, and awesome God, that You be filled with mercy, and be gracious to us for Your sake and for the sake of this psalm’s holiness and the holy Names that are mentioned in it, the holiness of the verses, letters, cantilliations and secrets; and the holiness of the sacred Name [DIKaRNUSA] that emanates from the verse: And I shall pour out blessing for you without limit; and from the verse: Let the light of Your face shine upon us, Hashem. Inscribe us in the book of goodly sustenance and support, this year and every year, for us and for our entire household, all the days our lives, with fullness and relief, in a permitted and not in a forbidden manner, with ease and not with pain, without exertion and bother, with tranquillity, calm and security, and without any evil eye. Privilege us to perform the holy service without any preoccupation. May You sustain us with a livelihood in which there is no inner shame of humiliation, may we not require human gifts – only from Your full and generous hand. May You grant us success and ease in all our studies, and in all our handiwork and involvements. May our homes be filled with Hashem’s blessing, may we be satisfied by our food, and may we be good. O merciful One, Gracious One, Protector, Supporter, Rescuer, Upright One, Redeemer [RCHSH TMIF] – have mercy upon us and hear our prayer, for You hear the prayer of every mouth. Blessed are You, Who hears prayer [AICHF ARARITA KOZU AZBIGA].”
